E-design services are the next best thing to full service design. Live in an apartment, or rental? Have a smaller project? Maybe the space doesn't need a major renovation, but you just need help with selecting paint, furniture and accessories to bring it all together. E-design is flexible and convenient no matter where you live. Not living in LA but still want the LA look? Whoever said you can't have your cake and eat it too was wrong, at least when it comes to virtual design services. Below is an outline of how the process works.
Phase 1: Admin

Select the design package for your project. Closely read and agree to the Terms Of Service before purchasing. Once payment is received you will be sent a Welcome Packet via email. In this packet you will receive information and materials needed to complete Phase 2.

This step is the crucial and necessary for the rest of the design process to run smoothly. The design questionnaire gives us insight into how you live and spend your time in your home. If you are keen on implementing any existing furniture that you have, this is where you would give us that information. You then will need to express what design style you want for your new space. If you're unsure about what you want, we can help in the discovery process. Photographs and measurements are needed of the space that will be designed. This gives us accurate information about your space and leaves nothing to chance. We will provide you with an easy step-by-step guide of how to do this. Last, you must determine your budget.
Phase 3: Design
The design phase is typically completed in 1-2 weeks. We will create a preliminary style board for you to review. This is the chance for you to make up to two (2) edits to your boards. More edits can be purchased separately. Once approved we will provide you with a completed board, floor plan with furniture locations, a render, a shopping list of budgeted items and where to purchase them, along with designer tips for bringing it all together.
Phase 4: Install
Once you receive your e-design package all that is left to do is purchase the budgeted items and put them into your home. E-design services allow you to go at your own pace. It's up to you if you want to install it all overnight or purchase items as your budget allows. You're in control and you decide how you want to proceed from here. If for any reason an item selected by Urbanity Design Studio is no longer available we will reselect and item for you within 60 days of receiving your shopping list.
